Hump Day Hike with YMCA of the Pines Hiking Club @ YMCA of the Pines
Sep 18 @ 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

We’ve started a hiking club that will meet once or twice a month, and we’ll explore some of the trails on our wooded 800 acres. This hike will be approximately 3 miles, approximately 1.5 hours long. If interested, please sign up by texting @hikeymca to the number 81010. In case of inclement weather, the hike will be cancelled and you will be notified via text alert through @hikeymca. Pre-registration is not required but is preferred.

Please meet inside the Welcome Center (brown cabin at the main entrance – the sign will say Camp Ockanickon) All participants must be present in the office to check in, and anyone 18 years and up must present a photo ID and sign a program waiver.

Women’s Wellness Weekend @ YMCA of the Pines

A retreat designed to help you relax, rejuvenate and restore at our beautiful 800-acre paradise in the Pines. This affordable getaway offers the chance to focus on matters of the mind, body and spirit, without the distraction of home, work and school. Enjoy traditional camp fun like hiking, boating, archery, climbing walls and ropes course along with health and wellness-focused activities such as yoga, fitness, dance and meditation. We’ll provide delicious meals, comfortable housing and enjoyable pastimes. You simply need to register, pack a bag and join us! Ages 18 and up. Check-in for dinner on Friday and check-out after breakfast on Sunday.

Golf Outing @ Medford Lakes Country Club

Our 32nd annual Golf Event is one of the major fundraisers for YMCA of the Pines. It will once again take place at the Medford Lakes Country Club. Proceeds provide scholarships to young people who normally wouldn’t be able to attend summer camp because of financial hardships. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Holiday Cookie Baking Family Class @ YMCA of the Pines

Swapping cookies during the holiday season is an age-old tradition. Join our professional chefs and learn how to make a variety of delicious cookies that will leave your friends and family asking for more. We’ll provide all ingredients, and families will leave with about 3 dozen cookies – just in time for the holiday season! Ages 8 and over. This is a child-friendly event, but parents are welcome to join in the fun!

Winter Camp @ YMCA of the Pines

Kids can enjoy their school break by exploring the winter wonderland of camp. They’ll reunite with summer friends and forge new relationships. They’ll tackle the challenge course, go hiking, build campfires, explore creative arts and participate in fun sports and games. Our 800 beautiful acres unveil a whole new world in the winter.

Sleepaway Camp: Ages 7-16 **NOTE: Check-in time for Sleepaway Winter Camp is at 2 pm on Dec. 27
